Asian America

from InterVarsity twentyonehundred on Vimeo

By 2018, there will be 1.6 million Asian American college students in America.

InterVarsity Asian American Ministries is a diverse, multiethnic community of its own. Our students and staff include, but are not limited to, those of Chinese, Filipino, Hawaiian, Hmong, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese descent.

Of our 5,369 core students, over two-thirds of our Asian American students are involved in explicitly ethnically-mixed chapters, while the other third is involved in more ethnically-focused ministries. In the latter category, we have different ministries focused toward East Asian, South Asian, Filipino, and Hmong students, and hope to continue to reach more Asian ethnic groups on campus. If you are interested in starting a chapter on your campus to reach out to a particular Asian ethnic group, please use the following contact form to let us know! We would love to help out in any way we can.
